Our team is working on a cutting-edge manufacturing platform by advancing automation capabilities that empower users to streamline their workflows and make smarter, data-driven decisions. As part of this effort, we develop features for Autodesk Fusion that enhance digital manufacturing workflows and support sustainability-driven decision-making. These tools help optimize production processes, evaluate environmental impact, and improve material efficiency—contributing to more responsible and efficient manufacturing practices. This role focuses on sustainable design and manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to work on a feature that provides real-time environmental impact feedback during design and manufacturing without disrupting our customer’s workflow, saves operational costs and accelerates the creation of LCA reports for compliance. This will require integrating different APIs from Autodesk Platform third party vendors, while ensuring the data flows properly. Responsibilities: Work with Autodesk Fusion’s API to access, manipulate and visualize manufacturing data. Develop and operate MCP servers that connect sustainability data services and APIs with Autodesk Fusion and other applications. Create documentation and tests to support maintainability and scalability. Participate in design reviews and contribute to UX improvements. Work with extended teams including UX Design, Research, Product Management, and QA. Requirements: Proficiency in C++ for backend logic. Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript and HTML/CSS. Understanding of MCP Server architecture and deployment. AI Dev skills – Proficient AI Assisted design and implementations Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience. Solid technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementations. Good written and verbal English communication skills. Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk! Salary transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Germany based roles, we expect a starting base salary between 71,000 EUR and 103,400 EUR. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
