Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an analytical subject such as Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Software Engineering. Experience: 2+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong passion for technology and building high-quality software. Coding Aptitude: Solid architecture and programming experience, with the ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly. Problem Solving: Ability to apply (and lead) a scientific and creative approach to solving complex problems. Adaptable & Collaborative: Thrives in diverse team environments and communicates clearly and precisely. Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail, experience defining test strategies, and a commitment to continuous learning and quality outcomes. Preferred Qualifications End-to-end development experience across the stack, in some or all of the following: Languages: Modern C++, Swift, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Python UI Frameworks: Qt, Cocoa, React, Angular, or similar Back-end: Java (Spring), RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and API design Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including contract testing and test automation within CI pipelines. Nice to have: An interest in AI-assisted development , including hands-on use or experimentation with LLM-based tools for tasks such as scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, or developer productivity improvements — with strong validation and ownership of shipped code. Familiarity with Git, DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Experience optimising applications across Windows, macOS, Linux, and Web platforms. CollabHiring Why Cisco?
