This is a hybrid role with two or three days per week at Cisco’s RTP, NC office or at our San Jose, CA office. Your Impact Design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals. Implement and support Salesforce integrations with other internal and external systems. Develop and maintain Visualforce, Apex, and Lightning components. Manage the Salesforce development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications. Collaborate with business partners to identify, define, and implement changes and enhancements to meet business requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Provide technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure the Salesforce solution performs as expected. Know the latest with new Salesforce features and functionalities and provide recommendations for process improvements. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, and user guides. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices Experience in Salesforce technologies (Apex, LWC, Lightning Component Framework, SOQL) and configuration (workflows, validation rules, process builders, flows) Experience with Salesforce integration tools and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP). system design, quality engineering and cross-system thinking Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes Experience with AI development tooling Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II) Experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or other Salesforce products Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Solve complex technical problems and manage numerous projects independently, collaborating with teams and partners to achieve operational excellence. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.
