Cisco Intersight is a cloud and on-premise based system management platform for Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System), and other Data Center products. It provides actionable intelligent level of management that enables IT organizations to analyze, simplify and automate their environments. It is driven by analytics and machine learning to provide actionable intelligence for IT operations management. Intersight Virtual Appliance is the on-premises solution that runs the Intersight capabilities in a Virtual Appliance. As part of Intersight Virtual Appliance team, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic core team and help shape the future of Data Center Infrastructure management technology, product direction and eventually the business in Data Center. Responsibilities Include: Contribute to backend development activities of Intersight SaaS & On-premises appliance products including planning, designing, implementing, testing, automating, and coordinating with other teams. Influence the feature development and improving product quality and customer experience. Good team player. Lead and mentor colleagues with your expertise and knowledge. Maintain active understanding of industry practices for platform scaling and new technology. Work on Agile Teams using continuous development and deployment process Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s +7 years of related experience, or Master’s +4 years of related experience or PhD +1 year of related experience. Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and production-ready solutions. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible. Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, networking, security, and CI/CD. Experience with observability and monitoring tools Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming languages, with a strong understanding of software development principles. Preferred Qualifications Experience building/managing a cloud-based data platform, automation and orchestration of their infrastructure and maintaining high availability, system reliability at scale. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong passion for learning, researching, and developing innovative technologies that deliver significant customer impact. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-experts while fostering collaboration and driving excellence within diverse technical teams. Certifications: CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications in cloud and security domains.
