Title and Summary Platform Engineer II Platform Engineer II, Generative AI & Copilot Platforms Overview The Enterprise Operations team is seeking a Platform Engineer II to help scale and support Mastercard's Generative AI and Copilot platform capabilities. This role will contribute to the engineering, support, governance, and adoption of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and related AI platform services. The successful candidate will combine technical engineering skills with a customer-focused mindset to support internal developers, maintain platform documentation, develop reusable solutions, and help drive enterprise AI adoption. Key Responsibilities AI Platform Engineering • Build, test, and maintain solutions that support enterprise AI and Copilot initiatives. • Contribute to platform integrations, automation, and reusable engineering components. • Assist in the development of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, connectors, and proof-of-concept solutions. • Follow engineering best practices for security, reliability, testing, and operational readiness. 12 Copilot Studio Support & Operations • Support internal developers building solutions with Copilot Studio and related Microsoft technologies. • Troubleshoot platform issues and assist users with technical questions and implementation guidance. • Partner with engineering and product teams to improve the developer experience and platform reliability. 13 Knowledge Management • Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, troubleshooting resources, and support content. • Ensure platform knowledge repositories remain accurate, current, and easy to consume. • Identify opportunities to improve self-service support and reduce repetitive support requests. 1 Developer Enablement • Deliver training sessions, demonstrations, and technical enablement content. • Create learning materials and reference assets that help developers successfully adopt platform capabilities. • Support internal communities of practice and developer engagement activities. 13 Qualifications Required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. • 2-5 years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, automation, or related technical roles. • Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, automation, or application integrations. • Experience troubleshooting technical issues and supporting users or development teams. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a collaborative environment. Preferred • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio. • Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI, or Generative AI technologies. • Experience developing integrations, connectors, or automation solutions. • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. • Experience creating technical documentation, training content, or developer enablement resources. 12 Success Measures Successful candidates will: • Improve the experience of developers building on AI and Copilot platforms. • Contribute reusable engineering solutions that accelerate platform adoption. • Maintain high-quality documentation and support resources. • Help scale AI capabilities through training, automation, and self-service experiences. • Support secure and reliable operation of enterprise AI platforms.
