Experience with graphics rendering and video playback pipelines on Android using MediaCodec, EGL and Vulkan. Hands-on proficiency with Android profiling and debugging tools across networking, input, CPU and GPU such as Dumpsys, Traceview and GPU inspector. Good understanding of Android build system components like Gradle, Jenkins and AAB Understanding of Android’s test infrastructure such as instrumentation, UI automation and unit testing. Highly proficient in Java and C/C++, and comfortable working in a large, long-lived codebase. Proficient in visualization tools like Kibana to run statistical data analysis to measure feature performance and effectiveness. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Perforce and Git. Ability to independently drive projects to completion, with excellent written and verbal communication and a proactive approach to identifying problems and pushing them to resolution. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Familiarity with low-latency video streaming pipelines, including video codecs, display, color spaces, scaling and other video processing operations.
