The Staff Software Engineer Opportunity We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our growing team in TDI and help scale our internal business solutions with a sharp focus on security, reliability, scalability, and intelligent automation. You will be responsible for designing and developing customizations, configurations, integrations, and AI-powered solutions required to meet the company’s strategic business objectives. This role demands strong collaboration with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and engineers, driving projects from ideation to production. Reporting to the Manager of Customer Experience, TDI, this role provides end-to-end technical services including design, configuration, development, testing, and automation while delivering high-quality, secure, and future-ready solutions. What You’ll Be Doing Design and implement secure, scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and platform configuration tools. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs leveraging the Salesforce platform. Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns. Develop and deploy serverless solutions using Amazon Web Services Lambda and cloud-native services to extend Salesforce capabilities. Build intelligent automation solutions using Python and AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Amazon Bedrock. Design conversational workflows, internal copilots, or AI agents that improve employee productivity and customer support operations. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals. Provide level-of-effort estimates and feasibility assessments for proposed solutions. Develop Salesforce features across multiple clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud Console, Experience Cloud). Own the full delivery lifecycle from discovery to deployment with proper documentation. Create and execute unit, integration, functional, and automation test cases to ensure solution quality. Support production deployments and perform root-cause analysis of issues. Mentor other engineers to help them grow and improve their skills. Take the role of Delivery Lead for different projects, making sure the team delivers the solution within the committed timelines while also follows defined coding/implementation best practices. What You’ll Bring to the Role 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex, Process Automation tools, and Lightning Web Components. 7+ years of software development experience using Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Communities with an in-depth understanding of best practices, coding, and declarative frameworks. Strong Python development experience for automation, integrations, and AI/ML workflows. Experience designing cloud-native solutions using Amazon Web Services services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, Step Functions, or serverless architectures. Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Amazon Bedrock. Familiarity with source control and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to manage and deliver full lifecycle Salesforce projects independently. Deep understanding of developing secure solutions that protect sensitive data. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. And Extra Credit if You Have Experience in Any of the Following! Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant, etc.). Experience with Einstein Bots, predictive analytics, Agentforce, or other AI-powered Salesforce tools. Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices for Salesforce. Experience building multi-agent orchestration or workflow automation platforms. Knowledge of prompt engineering, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or AI governance practices.
