We want to talk to you! Slack is looking for a Technical Architect to join our global project delivery organization supporting Enterprise customer implementations. We need someone who is technically deep, delivery-focused, and comfortable owning the hands-on technical build — from architecture through implementation — while partnering closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Designers, and customer technical teams. You'll be the technical backbone of Enterprise engagements: architecting, building, and validating solutions that span Slack, Salesforce clouds, and third-party systems, while ensuring what's built is secure, scalable, and maintainable long after go-live. What you'll be doing Own the technical architecture and hands-on build for Enterprise customer engagements, translating validated solution designs into working implementations Design and build integrations between Slack and Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, Data Cloud) as well as third-party systems, using APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms Configure and extend Slack capabilities (Workflow Builder, Slackbot skills, Slack AI, admin APIs, custom apps) to meet customer requirements, favoring the simplest viable technical path Partner closely with Solution Designers, Delivery Managers, and customer technical stakeholders to validate feasibility, scope technical effort, and identify risks early Produce and maintain technical artifacts — architecture diagrams, integration specs, configuration and deployment documentation — that support long-term maintainability Lead technical workshops and deep-dives with customer engineering and admin teams, troubleshooting issues and guiding trade-off decisions Ensure solutions follow security, governance, and scalability best practices across Slack and Salesforce platforms Support post-launch technical adoption, including admin enablement, troubleshooting, and platform health checks Continuously improve delivery practices by building reusable technical patterns, accelerators, and AI-native tooling (e.g., Slackbot skills) to increase technical delivery efficiency across engagements What you should have 8-10+ years of technical architecture, integration engineering, or hands-on technical consulting experience, preferably in SaaS and/or professional services Demonstrated hands-on experience building integrations and custom solutions on collaboration, workflow, or CRM platforms Strong working knowledge of Slack (Workflow Builder, admin APIs, Slack AI, Slackbot/custom apps) and Salesforce core clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and/or Agentforce Hands-on experience with API-based architecture and integration patterns (REST, webhooks, event streams, middleware such as MuleSoft) Solid coding/scripting ability (e.g., JavaScript/Node, Apex, Python) to build, test, and troubleshoot integrations and custom configurations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and technical trade-offs to land on a scalable solution Excellent communication skills for translating technical decisions to both customer technical stakeholders and delivery teams A collaborative mindset — comfortable partnering with Delivery Managers, Solution Designers, and customers to reach a shared technical solution Working knowledge of (or ability to quickly ramp on) the Salesforce Delivery Methodology Natural curiosity, a love of learning, and a habit of sharing technical knowledge and reusable patterns with others --- Slack is the collaboration hub of choice for companies of all sizes worldwide — ensuring the right people stay in the loop, key information stays at their fingertips, and teams stay connected, now increasingly powered by Slack AI.
