You Are: The CSO/OTA Solution Architect develops, validates, and communicates the technical, functional, and mission aligned solution concepts required for rapid cycle CSO/OTA pursuits. They will operate within accelerated acquisition timelines, the architect converts mission needs into differentiated solution architectures that satisfy CSO evaluation factors or prototype OT statutory requirements, while preparing AFS for follow on production awards. The role is a critical member of the Defense Portfolio CSO/OTA Rapid Response Team, alongside Proposal Development, Solutions Development, and Rapid Response contributors. This role requires experience supporting Department of War (DoW) capture, proposals, or technical solutioning in a government or government-contracting environment. The Work: Responsible for interfacing directly with the various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the Defense Portfolio accounts, they will produce and refine architecture diagrams (MS Visio, Draw.io, or Lucid), solution narratives, technical volumes, and supporting technical artifacts for proposals. The architect ensures every solution is credible, feasible, defensible, and ready for immediate submission, reflecting AFS’ expertise across AI, digital engineering, cyber, logistics, cloud engineering and mission systems. The role requires deep understanding of CSO competitive structures, prototype OT requirements (10 U.S.C. §4022), and evolving DoW acquisition strategies that prioritize commercial technology, speed, and innovation. Here's What You Need: Bachelors Degree Experience with one or more of the following: Capture, proposals, or technical solutioning in a government or government-contracting environment Domain Knowledge: Understanding of federal/government contracting, mission-critical IT solutions, or emerging technology domains Delivery Leadership Background: Prior experience as a program manager, delivery lead, or similar role with full lifecycle accountability Executive Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to C-suite and senior government leaders Project Management Expertise: Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with strong command of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches) Stakeholder Management Excellence: Advanced ability to build trust-based relationships, navigate organizational dynamics, and influence without authority Financial Acumen: Experience with budget management, financial tracking, P&L responsibility, and revenue forecasting Bonus Points If: Advanced Degree 15+ years of industry experience Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
