What you'll Do Cisco has a market leading position within the Cybersecurity market place and has the highest market share for network security. This opportunity is for an experienced Security sales professional within Cisco's Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) to drive the Security Business for Service Providers & Enterprise markets in France. As the Security Account Executive you will be responsible for developing and executing against Security opportunities in the Commercial Segment, working closely with our sales teams, partners and across our peer group of specialist organisations to build the right territory cyber security focus for your assigned commercial segments and help close incremental new and incumbent cyber security opportunities independently and in coordination with Portfolio Sales and Partners. Who You'll Work With • proactive, direct customer engagement at all levels, and working with our channel partners to develop leads and work through sales opportunities as a team. • good knowledge of the security technologies and products, of both Cisco and competition, as well as customer business drivers in the market. • great collaboration skills and team working skills to develop trusted relationships internally as well as externally with Partners and Customers • Excellent communications skills are expected in this role, ranging from persuasive skills on a one to one basis to presentations in front of large audiences. Primary Responsibilities: • Identify new sales opportunities within the existing Cisco customer base, work with the Account Teams to qualify opportunities, and priorities activities within Service Providers & Enterprise in France • Work with the Cisco field sales team to develop a sales plan for the assigned territory. • Leverage and nurture the Cisco partner base, work with the Partner sales teams to win new business deals. • Control the sales process, drive leads to closure - generate new revenues. Be accountable to your pipeline, forecast and opportunity management • Drive sales campaigns into target prospect base, working with Cisco field sales and Partner sales teams. Secondary Responsibilities: • Develop deep understanding of product capabilities and value proposition. • Present to customers and prospects in a highly effective manner. • Forecast revenue and products plus update sales activity to management. • Negotiation of sales transactions. • Attend industry forums, tradeshows and events as required. Who You are • You will be passionate about selling security • You must be able to demonstrate ability to sell in a consultative style, show understanding of customer requirements, discuss solutions, and sell Cisco security value proposition whilst linking it effectively into an overall Cisco Portfolio Account Strategy • You are highly skilled and effective in recognizing and generating opportunities, make technical presentations, or know who to engage • Experience in selling security solutions (Content security / Email security, Web security, SIG, DLP, VPN, ZTNA, EDR, XDR , NDR Next Gen Firewalls/IDS/IPS) and an understanding of the threat landscape is highly desired. • Having a good understanding of leveraging AI for Security as well as Securing AI • Established network of contacts and successful track record in sales and with SecOps, DevSecOps and NetOps • Fluency in English and French is a must.
