ABOUT THE ROLE This is an early, high-impact opportunity to join a growing AI-native fintech SaaS company as a Staff Fullstack Engineer, working directly alongside executive leadership to shape the core platform architecture. You'll have an outsized influence on technical direction, engineering culture, and the product that thousands of finance teams rely on every day. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap. - Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end-to-end. - Deliver robust, scalable, and thoroughly tested code across the full stack. - Establish engineering best practices and help build the foundation for a high-performing team culture. - Collaborate closely with Design and Operations teams to continuously improve the product. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years contributing to system design or architecture. - Strong full-stack proficiency using TypeScript/JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend; comfort leaning frontend-heavy is also welcome. - Solid experience with React. - Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery, including architecting and operating scalable cloud services. - Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas at scale. - Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. - Proven track record leading platform architecture decisions, setting technical direction, and mentoring engineers. - Comfortable working remotely as part of a fully distributed team across the US, Canada, and LATAM. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: $185,000 – $240,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION Fully remote. Primary location: Canada (US and LATAM candidates also welcome).
