ABOUT THE ROLE Join a fintech product team as a senior engineer focused on design and frontend craft. You will shape mortgage workflows into intuitive experiences, bringing ideas from Figma through to polished, production-ready interfaces. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead the end-to-end design and implementation process, from wireframes in Figma to React and TypeScript. - Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library using shadcn/ui. - Develop accessible, production-quality React components with thoughtful ARIA, keyboard, and focus management. - Partner with product and engineering to make complex mortgage workflows clear and easy to use. - Set and uphold visual and interaction standards across the product. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - At least 5 years of experience in a design engineering, frontend, or full-stack engineering role, with senior-level ownership and a record of shipping production code. - Strong production experience with React and TypeScript, plus Tailwind CSS and tools such as shadcn/ui. - Deep Figma proficiency, including libraries, variants, and auto-layout. - Experience building and maintaining design systems and component libraries on a strong frontend engineering foundation. - Background at a high-growth enterprise software company with complex, data-dense interfaces, or a consumer product company known for polished animation and interaction design. - A portfolio or personal site demonstrating strong visual and interaction design craft; experience with AI-native products, a CS degree, or founder experience is a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION This is a fully remote role. No primary city or region was specified.
