We're looking for a Frontend Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys taking ownership of highly interactive product experiences from concept through delivery. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong engineering fundamentals with product intuition and a genuine passion for crafting exceptional user experiences. You'll work closely with engineers, founders, and product stakeholders to build responsive, high-performance interfaces that make sophisticated technology feel intuitive and effortless. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design, build, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript. - Develop highly interactive user experiences with a strong focus on performance and responsiveness. - Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define and ship new features. - Take ownership of frontend architecture and contribute to technical decision-making. - Build reusable components and scalable frontend systems. - Optimize application performance, state management, and data-fetching strategies. - Contribute across the stack when needed, helping deliver end-to-end features. - Improve development workflows, tooling, and engineering best practices. - Create thoughtful user experiences, including loading states, error handling, and accessibility considerations. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience. - Strong expertise with React and TypeScript. - Experience building complex web applications at scale. - Deep understanding of state management and modern frontend architecture. - Strong product sense and ability to make informed UX decisions. - Experience working closely with backend systems and APIs. - Ability to operate independently and thrive in ambiguous environments. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality user experiences. - Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset. NICE TO HAVE - Experience with real-time or collaborative applications. - Exposure to AI-powered products or developer tools. - Familiarity with modern frontend ecosystems, including advanced caching and synchronization strategies. - Experience in startup or high-growth environments. - Design experience or strong visual product instincts. - Experience helping establish engineering standards in early-stage teams.
